Expanded and face-to-face meetings have been conducted at the Orbeliani palace between Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili and Milo Đukanović, the President of Montenegro. 

Zurabishvili thanked Đukanović for paying his first visit to Georgia defining it as historic.

The Georgian president mentioned that her counterpart's visit was planned last year but was later delayed due to the pandemic. 

At the meeting, the two top officials discussed the geopolitical locations of Georgia and Montenegro, the EU integration process, and the significance of international partners' support for Georgia. Salome Zurabishvili stressed that 'partners' backing is crucial for Georgia on its path to the EU.'  

The Georgian leader provided Mr.Đukanović with information on Georgia's breakaway regions and thanked him for supporting the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
