Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili said at the Orbeliani palace that New Year's reception is an ordinary event that a president may hold.
In Zurabishvili's words, she aims to change an atmosphere and welcome a new emotional state among them.''This is the first step to something positive. The fact that we are all now standing together is positive, and the public will view this so,'' the president said, adding that they cannot resolve even a single issue because of the current polarization in the country.
