Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili does not intend to attend the Eastern Orthodox Procession as, in her words, she is not entitled to breach the law.
"I do not remember a year when I have failed to attend the Eastern Orthodox Procession or Passion Week liturgies. This was the greatest tradition in our family and the symbol of our faith. However, this year brought us a different reality. I cannot attend the Eastern Procession, for the President of a country is not entitled to violate rules and regulations," Zurabishvili announced.
