Eleven people got drowned at a north Egypt coast of mountain terrain yesterday, CTV writes.
The tragedy took place on the Alexandria coast of the Mediterranean Sea. According to the Emergency Management Service information, ten people rushed into the sea to save a swimming boy. All ten, including the boy, died drowned in the sea.
Based on the information from the Tourism and Resort Administration of Alexandria, rescuers removed the bodies of six people; rescue works are in process. Egyptian beaches are still closed for coronavirus epidemic reasons.
