Ukraine International Airlines Boeing 737 crashed in Iran, killing all passengers aboard. According to local media, the accident took place shortly after the plane took off at 6:22 am.

The Boeing 737 was flying from Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport to Kyiv Boryspil International Airport. Four helicopters and 22 medical vehicles were mobilized at the disaster site, but rescuers could not complete their duties because of the intense fire.

According to preliminary reports, the cause of the tragedy was a technical problem. Other details are yet unknown.

The Ukrainian side has not commented on the disaster for now.

Gordon Johndroe, the Vice President of Government Operations Communications at The Boeing Company, has already responded to the accident. He said that the company was aware of the disaster and was trying to get more information.
