“When the Great Return program is launched, IDPs will also start returning their motherland,” President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said.
In his words, the Yeni Azerbaijan party members and activists will be the first to play their role through the process.
The process will last for a while, Aliyev claimed.
“We will not be able to restore destroyed towns and villages in a day or a couple of years. Thus, we will have to be consistent,’’ he stated.
“IDPs in a critical condition will be privileged, and the government will provide more than 300,000 internally displaced persons with accommodation. Though some of them still live in kindergartens, dormitories, and other useless buildings. The Yeni Azerbaijan activists should play their role to ensure social fairness,” Ilham Aliyev said.
