The number of people infected with the new coronavirus in Armenia increased by 771 during the last day. According to the Minister of Health of the country, Arsen Torosian, the numbers reached a new record during the epidemic.
At the government meeting, the minister said that 51 people are currently awaiting hospitalization.
Torosian noted that there are no free places in resuscitation, although the number is not big.
"Now, the condition of 502 people is severe; another 113 are in extremely severe condition. Forty people have been admitted to the artificial lung ventilation," the minister said.
The number of those infected reaches 22 488 in Armenia. The National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health spreads information about the new cases.
COVID-19 killed 397 people since the outbreak, 11 of them in one day. The number of people who have died of other diseases is 131.
11 335 patients got discharged from the hospital after they cured.
Currently, 10 625 people are undergoing treatment.
A total of 102 736 people have been tested for coronavirus in the country.
