Azerbaijan's Embassy to Russia has sent a protest note to the Russian Foreign Ministry regarding the visit of the Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vitaly Milonov to Karabakh, Azerbaijan's media outlets report.
Under the statement released by Azerbaijan's Embassy, on October 16, 2020, Vitaly Milonov conducted a meeting with the ''so-called head of the separatist regime and made several provocative statements aimed at further aggravating tensions in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan."
"Such provocative actions by the member of the Russian State Duma of the Russian Federation have caused the outrage of the Azerbaijani public and diaspora in Russia," the embassy reports.
