Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that Baku stands ready to start working on a peace agreement with Yerevan.
As Ilham Aliyev stated at a meeting with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels, Azerbaijan seeks peace and stability.
''Azerbaijan supports peace, stability, and predictability. We aim to minimize the risks of any new war. The best way possible for this is to open communication routes, launch an active dialogue, and relearn how to be neighbors again. We pursue a transparent and direct policy. If Armenia proves willing to do so, we stand ready to start working with it on a peace agreement," the president said.
