Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro, threatens to quit WHO, blaming them in being politicized, writes France Presse.
He made the statement after the WHO representative, Margaret Harris, spoke on the risk of restrictions' early lifting during the press conference in Geneva. After the statement, Bolsonaro shared with media that Brazil will review the option of quitting WHO.
"I warn you: The United States has quitted the WHO, and we are also considering [this variant] in the future. Either the WHO works without ideological tinting, or we leave. We don't want people from the outside to tell us what our healthcare must do," he said.
On May 29, the USA President, Donald Trump, declared that the country discontinues relationships with the World Health Organization.
