In the Chinese city of Wuhan, where a new type of coronavirus first got detected and later spread all over the world, no new cases of infection got confirmed in the last 24 hours.
The number of infected across China increased by 34 in the past 24 hours, reaching 80928. Eight patients died, the death toll rising to 3245. 819 people recovered, their total number so far is 70420.
There are 7263 patients in clinics undergoing treatment. 2274 of them are in serious condition.
According to the latest data, 219332 cases of coronavirus got identified worldwide, 8969 died, and 85745 recovered. In terms of the spread of the virus, the most challenging situation after China is in European countries and Iran.
