The number of new cases of coronavirus in India exceeds 300 thousand for the 6th day, which is why local doctors are asking the army for help, CNA reports.
In the last 24 hours, 323,144 new cases of COVID-19 have been officially confirmed in India, while 352,991 cases got recorded the day before yesterday. Thus, India breaks records for the daily increase in the number of new coronavirus infections in a matter of days.
India’s medical system is completely overloaded, and there are no more places at hospitals. Therefore, to fight the pandemic, Indian doctors have already asked the military for help.
The death toll from the coronavirus in the country over the past day was 2,771, but experts expect a significant deterioration in the figure soon.
