According to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, on September 3, illegal Armenian groups opened fire on Azerbaijani positions in the city of Shusha, where Russian troops are also stationed.
According to the Ministry, the Azerbaijani side took appropriate measures; as a result, the Armenian side suffered losses.
The Azerbaijani side provided information about the incident to the Russian military command headquarters and the Russian-Turkish monitoring center.
According to the Ministry, appropriate measures will be taken against such provocative actions within the framework of the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Armenian side has not yet commented on the incident.
