The parade, which will take place on 3 April, will feature 22 mummies, 18 of them kings and four queens.

The parade will be held accompanied by fireworks and salutes.

Among the famous mummies is Pharaoh Seqenenre Tao, who started the liberation war against the Hyksos; Pharaoh Hatshepsut, owner of the magnificent Temple of Deir el-Bahari on the west coast of Luxor; and Pharaoh Ramesses II, the great pharaoh of the new kingdom.
