President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said at the joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev that Turkey supports long-term peace in the region.
''We discussed bilateral relations at the meeting with Ilham Aliyev.
We support long-term peace and normalization of the situation in the region. If Armenia shows a sincere willingness with Azerbaijan, Turkey will see no obstacles to normalize relations with Yerevan,'' Erdoğan declared.
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the Head of State of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, opened the Fuzuli International Airport.
The two leaders also laid the foundation of the Horadiz-Jabrayil-Zangilan-Agband highway (Zangazur Corridor).
