At the virtual meeting, the foreign ministers of France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States stressed the need to strengthen NATO.
"The Ministers agreed on the importance of further strengthening NATO and ensuring that the Alliance adheres to the current strategic reality based on the recommendations of the NATO Science Center," the press release, published on the website of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
The meeting participants also stressed the importance of ending the war in Yemen, condemned the Myanmar military coup, and discussed the global response to the coronavirus crisis.
