The EU has removed six countries from the list of safe countries, including Azerbaijan and Armenia, Reuters reports.
According to the publication, Albania, Japan, Brunei, and Serbia were also removed from the list by the decision of the Council of the European Union. This means that travelers arriving in the EU from the countries listed will have to submit a negative answer to the COVID test and be quarantined.
According to the decision of the Council of the European Union, one country - Uruguay - has been added to the list of safe countries. There are currently a total of 12 states on the list.
However, fully vaccinated citizens can still enter the EU, although they still have to be quarantined in some European countries.
