EU member states agreed on a list of countries whose citizens will cross the EU's external borders. Euronews writes about this based on a diplomatic source in the Council of the European Union.

According to media reports, the list, which includes 15 countries, received enough votes. It will be officially announced on July 1.

Euronews writes that the United States, Russia, and Brazil were not included in the final list.

At the same time, China is on the list, but only on the condition that China will also open its borders to EU citizens.

The full list obtained by Euronews is as follows: Georgia, Montenegro, Serbia, Canada, Uruguay, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Rwanda, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and China (if confirmed).
