Health Minister Jens Spahn wrote to the European Commission to announce that they plan to create a NATO-type alliance to achieve the fastest and best possible outcome in negotiations with key players in the pharmaceutical industry, Rheinische Post writes.
According to the information, the Minister considers it urgent to create a structure accessible for medical workers. Spahn says such a system is an excellent opportunity to raise funds, which will help the practical solution of the problem.
“New alliance will be the NATO analog in the health sphere,” – said the Minister.
Spahn expressed interest in the expansion of the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control. The Minister believes that the Center may be turned into a Unite European Institute of Virology.
