The Organization for Democracy and Economic Development (GUAM) has expressed its condolences over the death of a military serviceman in a helicopter crash at the State Border Service of Azerbaijan. A statement got posted on the Twitter page of the organization.
"We are deeply saddened by the news of the tragic accident of the military helicopter during the training drills that took lives among personnel and caused casualties.
In this connection, we express condolences to families of victims, to the Government, and the people of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
We wish a speedy and full recovery to the injured," the statement said.
On November 30, a military helicopter of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan crashed during a training flight in the Khizi district. As a result of the accident, 14 people were killed, and two were injured.
