According to the government’s statement, the proposed new legislation is compulsory, and it does not harm the autonomy and foreign investors of Hong Kong.
Police summoned the protesters to maintain the distance according to the restriction limiting the number of meeting participants to eight people. Police used tear gas and pepper gas spray to disperse the protesters.
