The August heat has killed 148 people in Tokyo, informs the Japanese Public TV Chanel based on the information received from the Bureau of Social Wealth and Public Health.
According to the information, the heat has killed seventeen people during the last week. Eighty percent of the killed people are over 70 years of age. The air temperature reached 32-37 degrees.
