The Italian government cancels the restriction of entering and leaving the country borders, as well as the restriction of transportation between the country regions, reads the Council of Minister's press release, which is placed on the government web site.
Italy has significantly restricted the mobility between the country regions starting from mid-March. Starting from May 4, Italians are allowed to visit relatives living in the same region.
On Friday, the government spreads information on opening the regional borders effective June 3.
After opening borders, from June 3, only citizens of the states where the coronavirus infection indicator is low or is not detected at all will be eligible to enter Italy. The movement between the Vatican and San-Marino will be resumed.
