US President Joe Biden plans to run in the 2024 presidential election. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters, Reuters writes.
"Yes, he's going to do so. That's his intention," she said.
Reuters notes that the rating of 79-year-old Biden has fallen in recent months, which is why some members of the Democratic Party suspect he may not run for another term.
Democrats, meanwhile, are concerned about the Republican victory in the elections in Virginia earlier this month and the Democrats' small lead in New Jersey.
