Sea Breeze 2020, a military exercise is taking place in the Black Sea. Georgian servicemen are participating in the training as well. The US Navy spreads information about the news.
The maneuvers near Odessa started today.
According to the representatives of the Sixth Fleet of the US Navy, the purpose of the exercises is to strengthen regional security.
"Our participation in multinational exercises such as Sea Breeze 2020 is a real demonstration that the United States is involved in the collective defense of Europe," the Sixth Fleet said in a statement.
Naval maneuvers will include 27 warships, 19 aircraft, and 2,000 servicemen from Ukraine, Georgia, and seven NATO member countries: USA, Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania, France, Spain, and Norway.

This is the 20th iteration of the exercise that has been a #USA & #Ukraine co-hosted since 1997.
