The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has issued an official statement on the neutralization of a missile fired by Armenia.
"A ballistic missile launched from Armenia's territory in the direction of Mingachevir was detected by Azerbaijan's Air Defense Systems and destroyed at an altitude of more than 20 kilometers," reads the statement.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, the Armenian side opened fire on the villages of Goranboy, Terter, and Agdam regions in the morning.

The headquarters of the 5th Destroyer Regiment of the Armenian Armed Forces got destroyed. The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's press service released the information.
As a result, the chief of staff of the 10th Destroyer Division, Colonel Samvel Grigoryan, was seriously wounded, the regiment's artillery chief, Lieutenant-Colonel Arman Dermeyan, and a large number of service members died as a result.
The agency reports that the Armenian Armed Forces personnel, which suffered heavy losses from the Azerbaijani Army's shelling of Khankandi, are being evacuated. Many service members got killed and wounded due to artillery fire that hit the shelter of one of the military units in Khankandi.
During the day and last night, the Azerbaijani army destroyed a total of 13 T-72 tanks, 2 PDMs, four BM-21 "Grad" rocket launchers, two 2S3 Akatsiya self-propelled guns, three D-30 howitzers, two radar systems, and a large number of vehicles belonging to the Armenian armed forces.
As a result of the operation carried out in one of the frontline directions, 6 T-72 tanks belonging to the 49th tank brigade of the Armenian Armed Forces were seized.
