The Press Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan says that Armenia's attempt to improve its standing in the region by opening fire on Azerbaijan military posts is unacceptable.
''Azerbaijan will exercise its right to take all steps required to protect its territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders as well as ensure peace and security in the region. Armenia's provocations, opening fire on Azerbaijan military posts and attempts to exacerbate the situation in the region are inadmissible. Armenia is to be held fully responsible for the existing situation,'' the statement reads.
