The number of people killed in the explosions in Kabul has exceeded 100, WSJ reports.

A senior Afghan official said the total number of Afghans killed was 90, with another 150 injured.

In addition, 13 American servicemen were killed.

Three powerful explosions occurred outside Kabul’s international airport.

Australia, the US, and the UK issued alerts to their citizens on August 26. Those already outside the airport are advised to leave the area immediately.

Taliban took over Kabul on August 15.

Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani left the capital Kabul for Tajikistan.

Ghani said he left the country to avoid bloodshed in Kabul.

The Taliban have declared Afghanistan as the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

Large numbers of people stormed the runway of the capital Kabul airport. They were trying to leave the country. People remain in the airport area.
