Naples mourns Maradona

Naples bids farewell to Diego Maradona. The city streets are full of fans. Flowers and candles are brought to the houses on which the player's portraits are hung. The Daily Mail writes about the events following his death.

Maradona fans gathered at the football stadium. The city Mayor has already announced that the stadium will be named after the Argentinian footballer.

Maradona played for the local team from 1984-1991. The club won the UEFA Cup, the country Super Cup, and two Italian titles with him.

Argentine footballer and coach Diego Armando Maradona has died at the age of 60.

Alberto Fernández, President of Argentina, has declared three days of mourning in the country over the death of Maradona.
