OSCE Chairperson-in-Office: Fortunately, the hostilities in Karabakh are over

"Fortunately, hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh are over. Now is the time to implement the agreements," the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama said at the 27th meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council.

"I express my full support for the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs. If there is trust, substantive negotiations must continue to achieve a lasting and comprehensive settlement of the conflict," Rama said.

The situation between Azerbaijan and Armenia became tense on September 27. On November 10, the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia signed a joint statement calling for a complete cessation of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh. Armenia pledged to return Nagorno-Karabakh territories to Azerbaijan.
