A resident of French Polynesia became the owner of the record jackpot of the EuroMillions raffle.
The record jackpot of 220 million euros in France's "EuroMillions" lottery was announced two weeks ago, but the winner was unknown.
The winning numbers are 21, 26, 31, 34, 49, and the star numbers are 2 and 5.
The name of the lucky player was not announced. However, he said that his father regularly bought a lottery ticket, and he himself was waiting for the right moment to do so.
The winner also admitted that he barely remembered the location of the ticket hidden before receiving the jackpot because, for security reasons, he hid the ticket with a combination of lucky numbers several times.
It is noteworthy that the jackpots won so far in France in 2011 and 2012 amounted to 162 and 170 million euros.
