A painting by Nicolas Poussin was discovered in Italy. The Nazis confiscated it from a Jewish family in 1944.

A 17th-century work, "Lot with his two daughters serving him drinks," disappeared in the French city of Poitiers in February 1944, which was occupied by the Nazis. In 1946, the former owners began searching for a painting confiscated from them.

The size of the painting is 120X150 centimeters. It was found in the home of an antique dealer in Padua, Italy.

It turned out that the painting appeared in Italy in 2017 and was temporarily exhibited in Belgium.

Now the work has been returned to its first owners.
