Parliamentary elections are underway in Bulgaria today.
A total of 6,985 candidates participate in the elections, including 22 political parties, eight coalitions, and several independent candidates.
About 12,000 polling stations have opened across the country from 08:00 local time.
The elections will be held with some restrictions. Voters will not be allowed into polling stations without masks. It is also necessary to maintain social distance.
Preliminary polls say the ruling coalition will receive the majority of votes.
