"The Armenian Armed Forces carried out a missile strike on a residential area in the Azerbaijani city of Ganja with a ballistic missile of the Elbrus (SCUD) system," the Executive Director of Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action revealed the information.
He said the engraving found on the rocket reads 8K14, which helped to determine the type.
Hikmet Hajiyev, the assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, said that using a ballistic missile to bomb such a large city was vandalism and a war crime.
