The man who hijacked a bus in the Ukrainian city of Lutsk says he has another explosive device planted in a crowded place. He has taken hostages on the bus. According to reports, the kidnapper is armed, and the bus is mined.
On Twitter, he demanded that the heads of the courts, ministries, the prosecutor's office, the parliament, and the church record a video claiming that they are "legal terrorists."
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky responded to the situation in Lutsk. He said that an operation is underway, and everything is done to resolve the case without any casualties.
"There is alarming information from Lutsk. At 9:25 a.m., a man called the police station and said he had hijacked a bus and taken people, hostage. Operation "Hostage" is underway at the moment," Zelensky wrote.
