According to American studies, unvaccinated people with COVID-19 are about 29 times more likely to be hospitalized. CNBC reports based on a survey by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The study also found that unvaccinated people became infected with the coronavirus five times more often than vaccinated. The results are based on a survey conducted in Los Angeles from May 1 to July 25.

Published data indicate that against the background of the spread of the Delta strain, vaccines protect against the severe form of COVID-19.

According to the CDC, currently, 51.5% of the entire US population is fully vaccinated.
