The USA and Taliban have signed the agreement, hopefully ending up the 18 years of conflict, BBC writes.
The agreement signing ceremony took place in Doha, Qatar. The USA State Secretary, Mike Pompeo, and Taliban Movement leaders attended the ceremony.
According to the agreement, the USA and NATO have to draw back the army from the Afghan territory in 14 months. On the other hand, the Talibs promised to stop Al Qaeda operations and ensure no terrorist acts in the territory controlled by the USA forces.
