Turkish police in Istanbul used tear gas to disperse women’s march. A few hundreds of women planned a march from the Taksim Square, but law-enforcers have fended off from doing it. Reuters provides information on the dispersed women’s act.

Reportedly, police created a live fence, but later they used special equipment. The ground for doing it has been a limitation defined by the sanction, according to which the protesters were allowed to gather on Taksim Square but had no right to leave it marching.

Last year the demonstration of March 8 was also dispersed by police.
