A third wave of the COVID pandemic has begun in France, according to French PM Jean Castex.
In Jean Castex's words, they are now enduring the third wave of the pandemic, characterized by different coronavirus variants.
Earlier, an unknown strain was discovered in the Northwest region of the country. Specialists say the exiting tests make it hard to identify the strain.
Per the Worldometers, France now has 4,078,133 coronavirus cases, 273,771 recoveries, and 90,762 deaths.
