The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Mevlut Cavusoglu, who is paying an official visit to Azerbaijan, said he had arrived in Baku to show support for the Azerbaijani people. "Greetings from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. We will be with Azerbaijan in sorrow and joy," the Minister said.
Cavusoglu stated that the territories of Azerbaijan are occupied by Armenia and called on the international community to support the de-occupation of these territories.
"I declare once again that Nagorno-Karabakh is Azerbaijan. I want to note that so far there has been no united reaction from the international community to the withdrawal of Armenian troops from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan," Cavusoglu said.
According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, the truce has existed so far, but it has not brought real results.
"The world must be on the side of Azerbaijan and international law. All calls are for a ceasefire. The truce had no outcome. After some time, the Armenians are attacking again. Can you tell Armenia to liberate Azerbaijani territories immediately?" Cavusoglu noted.
The Minister said the same thing has been going on for years, and it should end. "We have done everything possible to resolve this issue peacefully," Cavusoglu said.
