Presidents of Ukraine and Turkey Volodymyr Zelensky and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan have agreed to step up work on concluding an agreement on a free trade zone between the two countries.
“The presidents agreed to intensify work on completing the process of concluding an agreement on a free trade zone between Ukraine and Turkey,” the Ukraine presidential office noted.
Erdogan accepted Zelensky’s invitation to visit Ukraine to participate in the 10th meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council, scheduled for this autumn.
The presidents of Turkey and Ukraine met in New York.
