The Director-general of the World Health Organization says that the international community should increase the production of vaccines.
"It's time to use all the tools to increase production, including the transfer of licenses and technologies. If not now, then when?" Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated.
According to him, the world has made significant progress, but this progress is fragile.
"We need to speed up the supply and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines, but we will not be able to do that while some countries turn directly to the manufacturers the COVAX platform depends on," he noted.
