Georgian Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth Tea Tsulukiani visited the Georgian towns of Senaki and Poti.

In Senaki, she visited the Akaki Khorav State Drama Theater, toured the renovated building, and met with the theater's management.

Tea Tsulukiani suggested that the theater actors open the renovated theater building as soon as possible to start earning income. She promised to provide support in organizing the opening ceremony of the theater and in solving problems.

In 2016-2020, with the support of the Kartu Foundation, the Akaki Khorav Theater was completely renovated. About ten million GEL were allocated for the project.

During her visit to Poti, Tea Tsulukiani inspected the Valerian Gunia Drama Theater building, the construction of which began in 2004 and was completed in 2014.

However, due to poorly executed construction work, the building is in poor condition. Therefore, the theater was forced to move to the Poti Folklore Center.

Tea Tsulukiani held a meeting with the project company and the Mayor of Poti in the theater building. At the meeting, an agreement was reached that the Poti City Hall, which has the theater building on its balance sheet, will assist the company in rehabilitating the building.
