The presentation of the scientific work on Georgian Cultural Heritage takes place in the National Youth and Children Palace of Georgia. The International Center of Georgian Folk Song organizes the event.
“Georgia. History. Culture. Ethnography” – is the title of the work issued in the English Language. The work represents the research of the Georgian Cultural Heritage.
The idea to create the book belongs to the President of the American Publishing House NOVA SCIENCE, Frank Columbus, and his wife, Nadya Gotsiridze-Columbus. They shared the idea with the Anzor Erkomaishvili, the folk music choirmaster. Bidzina Ivanishvili supported the project by financing it through International Charity Foundation Cartu.
The work unites 2491 samples of the unique Georgian folk songs, canticles, instrumental music and folk dances.
“The goal of the three-volume work’s authors is to send the work to the worlds’ biggest archives and libraries”. – the information reads.
