Minister of Culture Tea Tsulukiani believes that the state should finance films that awaken the love of homeland and freedom in the younger generation.
"What do you mean by support. If support means a minister who propagates something that she does not like, there may be no such support because let us not forget that I a spectator. I, too, have my tastes, bad or good, like everyone else.
But the state has to fund it. At least I will single out the younger generations. They invest the love of the homeland, a love of freedom, and give them the correct information about what human rights are, what is needed for de-occupation, and among these young generations, we should especially single out those who are the third or fourth generation of those occupied. These are painful issues, and art should serve these issues from my point of view," she said.
Tea Tsulukiani was appointed on the post of the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth of Georgia on March 19.
