The first semi-final of "Eurovision" 2021 took place in Rotterdam with the participation of representatives of 16 countries, The Washington Post reports.
The second semi-final of Eurovision will be held on May 20, and the final on May 22.
Norway, Israel, Russia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Malta, Lithuania, Cyprus, Sweden, and Belgium reached the final.
Founding countries of Eurovision: Great Britain, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and the winner of the last competition, the Netherlands, automatically advance to the finals.
Due to the spread of the coronavirus, the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest was canceled; it is taking place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from May 18 to May 22.
