The Georgian National Film Center competition "Write on Georgian Cinema," which aims to promote the development of film knowledge and film criticism, has ended.
Eleven contestants advanced to the final stage of the competition, and finally, three winners were selected among them:
- First place: Akaki Chabashvili
- Second place: Giorgi Mikabadze
- Third place: Eter Parchukidze
The winners will be awarded the following prizes:
- First Prize - The winner will attend the Berlin International Film Festival. The Film Center will fund attendance at the festival for five days, including accreditation, travel, daily, and hotel expenses. If the festival moves to online space due to a pandemic, the student will be provided with the accreditation required to attend the festival in this format and will receive a reward of GEL 3 000.
- Second Prize - The prize winner will be funded with a one-year tuition fee at the University of Georgia or will receive this amount in the form of a scholarship (if the student has obtained a study grant).
- Third Prize - The prize winner will be funded with a one-semester tuition fee at the University of Georgia or will receive this amount in the form of a scholarship (if the student has obtained a study grant).
