The investigation into the case of three sisters convicted of their father's murder has reportedly come to an end. The youngest sister Maria Khachaturyan was declared insane at the time of perpetrating the crime and, it was decided that she will undergo medical treatment without her consent, according to ria.ru. As for older sisters Krestina and Angelina, they are facing deliberate homicide charges. Mikheil Khachaturyan, 57, was killed by his own daughters in his own flat in 2018. The sisters themselves called the police and told them that their father had been physically and sexually abusing them for years, which is why they eventually killed him.
Psychological and physical pain sustained by the young girls for years will result in a more lenient punishment.
