The pre-trial hearing of Giorgi Menabde, arrested in the Khorava Street case, has ended in the Tbilisi City Court. At the trial, the prosecutor's office demanded the detainee to remain in custody, while the defense requested that he be released without any restraining order.
The defendant attended the hearing remotely.
Menabde is charged with premeditated murder of a minor committed in a group with prior knowledge. The detainee pleads not guilty.
If convicted, Giorgi Menabde faces between 13 and 17 years in prison.
