Tbilisi City Court has sentenced Davit Kodua, arrested on charges of domestic violence, to imprisonment as a measure of restraint.
Davit Kodua was charged with physical violence against his wife and child on April 13.
Kodua got charged under Article 126, Part 2, Subparagraph "g" of the Criminal Code of Georgia (violence by one family member against another family member, which caused physical pain, committed against two or more persons), which means imprisonment for one to three years.
Businessman Davit Kodua was arrested on April 12 on charges of domestic violence.
